Paris, October 2026
Some encounters mark a journey, some experiences open up new perspectives, and some moments you only realize their full significance once they are behind you. Our participation in the first edition of Rendez-Vous, in the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries, will undoubtedly remain one of those moments.
It all began two years earlier. In 2024, we had the immense good fortune of joining the Émergence program, an initiative led by Francéclat to support the development of young French jewelry and fine jewelry houses.
For one year, we benefited from privileged support, surrounded by two professional coaches and many renowned figures from our industry.
It was a particularly enriching experience that allowed us to take a step back from our work, structure our ambitions, and think more deeply about the future of The Black Alchemy. But beyond the advice and lessons, it was above all the personal encounters that left a lasting impression on us.
Passionate individuals, professionals generous with their expertise, and sincere exchanges centered around a shared fascination with jewelry and the craftsmanship that brings it to life.
As the months went by, bonds were formed. Some became true friendships, others valuable professional relationships that we continued to nurture long after the program ended.
At the time, we could hardly have imagined that this adventure would lead us, two years later, to the heart of Paris Fashion Week.
A few months before autumn 2026, we received an invitation that particularly touched us: to participate in the very first edition of Rendez-Vous, an event conceived and organized by Francéclat as part of the Émergence program.
The project was ambitious.
To bring together, in one place, historic houses and independent creators, unique visions and exceptional craftsmanship, to celebrate the full richness of French jewelry and fine jewelry. And not just anywhere.
From October 2 to 5, 2026, in the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, during one of the most effervescent weeks of the year for fashion and creation, this unprecedented event would come to life.
Under temporary architecture designed for the occasion, 24 selected brands gathered on a central stage, surrounded by spaces dedicated to creation, photography, conversation, and the culture of jewelry.
A rare opportunity to bring different generations of creators into dialogue, to compare perspectives, and to showcase vibrant, bold, and resolutely contemporary French fine jewelry.
For us, who craft our jewelry together in our Lyon workshop, participating in such an event represented a particularly symbolic milestone.
A new experience, a new audience, and above all, the opportunity to share our universe far beyond the walls of our workshop.
The weeks leading up to our departure were particularly intense.
Between the final pieces to complete, preparing our jewelry selection, the presentation details, and all the logistics involved in such a trip, the days never seemed long enough.
We wanted to present a collection of pieces capable of faithfully telling our story.
Sculptural jewelry, organic textures, irregular lines, natural stones, and this constant search for balance between raw material and the delicacy of the gesture.
Each creation brought to Paris carried with it a part of our story, our inspirations, and the many hours spent in the workshop.
Then came the time to hit the road. A few suitcases, our carefully prepared creations, and that particular excitement that accompanies first times.
Discovering the venue, its architecture, its scenography, and all the houses gathered together, we immediately understood that we were going to experience something unique.
The buzz of the preparations, the final adjustments, the reunions with the Francéclat teams and the other creators: everything contributed to this very special atmosphere in the moments preceding the opening. And suddenly, after weeks of preparation, everything was ready.
From the opening, the pace set in. And what a pace! Days starting early in the morning, sometimes extended until 10 or 11 p.m., punctuated by an almost continuous succession of meetings, conversations, and discoveries.
International buyers, journalists, luxury professionals, institutional representatives, creators, students, collectors, and jewelry lovers crossed paths in the aisles of the show.
We had the pleasure of presenting our work to people from very different backgrounds, telling our approach, and sharing our way of thinking about creation.
What particularly touched us was the curiosity and sincere interest sparked by our jewelry. Taking the time to explain a texture, tell the origin of a shape, talk about our lost-wax sculpting work, or simply observe the reaction of someone discovering a piece for the first time.
These exchanges remind us why we chose this profession. Because behind each piece of jewelry lies an intention, an emotion, a story. And when this story meets the sensitivity of someone else, something difficult to describe happens.
Beyond the professional dimension, these days were a tremendous source of inspiration.
We discovered other approaches to the material, exchanged about our respective practices, and shared our visions of what jewelry of tomorrow could be.
In a sector sometimes perceived as traditional, it was particularly exciting to see how much French creation knows how to renew itself, experiment, and push its own boundaries.
Four intense, stimulating, sometimes exhausting, but deeply alive days.
Le Rendez-Vous was not limited to presenting the collections.
The event was also designed as a true cultural experience, inviting visitors to explore jewelry from different perspectives.
Throughout the show, round tables and conversations brought together industry figures around essential topics: contemporary creation, the new imaginaries of luxury, the evolution of know-how, transmission, and the development of independent houses.
Reflections that resonate particularly with our own journey.
One of the spaces that was closest to our hearts was that dedicated to presenting exceptional jewelry.
We had the immense pleasure of discovering two of our creations there, SUREAU and PIVOINES, presented within the exhibition Monographie du Bijou, dedicated to the theme of the garden. Two pieces that express our fascination with the plant world, organic shapes, and the transformation of material.
Conceived in collaboration with Baptiste Desjardin, artistic director and paper artist, the scenography unfolds like a suspended landscape, composed of monumental sheets of paper inspired by plants, at the heart of which the jewelry takes place.
Discovering them in this context, among other remarkable creations, was a particularly moving moment. Usually, these jewelry pieces come to life in our hands, in the intimacy of the workshop, through gestures and hours of work.
Seeing them thus presented to the public, as objects of contemplation in their own right, gave a new dimension to our approach.
A beautiful recognition of what we have been trying to express since the beginnings of The Black Alchemy: free, instinctive jewelry, at the border between ornament and sculpture.
Beyond the days at the salon, certain moments gave this experience an even more special dimension.
On Friday evening, an inaugural cocktail party brought together the participants and guests in an atmosphere that was both elegant and warm.
An opportunity to continue conversations, reconnect with familiar faces, and meet those we had not yet had time to meet.
But it was probably the Saturday evening dinner that will remain one of our most memorable memories. For the occasion, the central stage of the salon had been completely transformed.
In the middle of the spaces usually dedicated to jewelry, a magnificent table had been set, enhanced by a spectacular floral arrangement.
The light, the flowers, the architecture of the venue, and this feeling of being all gathered together in the heart of an almost surreal setting created an absolutely magical atmosphere.
We shared this dinner with the other houses, the organizing teams, buyers from around the world, the press, and the personalities who had helped bring this event to life.
The speeches, especially that of the president of Francéclat, reminded us of the importance of supporting French creation, promoting its expertise, and giving new generations the means to build their future. But what we will remember most is the simplicity and conviviality of these moments.
Behind the brands, the houses, and the professional paths, there were above all women and men united by the same passion.
Laughter, endless conversations, ideas exchanged around a table, and that rare feeling of being part of a collective adventure.
A suspended moment, the memory of which we will keep for a long time.
Leaving Paris, we were exhausted. Exhausted by weeks of preparation, long days, late evenings, and the intensity of everything we had just experienced.
But above all, we were happy. Happy to have reunited with those who have accompanied us since the Émergence program. Happy to have met so many inspiring personalities. Happy to have been able to present our work, defend our vision of jewelry, and discover the interest it could arouse among new audiences.
We left with precious memories, new ideas, collaboration prospects, and renewed creative energy.
This first edition of the Rendez-Vous also reminded us of something essential: even when building an independent house, with its own convictions and its own identity, you never grow completely alone.
Encounters, exchanges, and outside perspectives also help shape who we become. And that is probably what makes this experience so precious to us.
From our first handcrafted jewelry pieces to this first participation in an international event during Paris Fashion Week, the journey we have traveled sometimes seems hard to comprehend.
We still have so much to learn, explore, and imagine.
New pieces to create, new materials to work with, new stories to tell.
But these few days in Paris have strengthened our desire to continue evolving The Black Alchemy, without ever losing what has driven us since day one: the freedom to create, the love of the craft, and the pursuit of a sincere emotion.
We would like to warmly thank all the teams at Francéclat and the Émergence program, our coaches, the organizers, the participating fashion houses, and everyone who helped make this first edition so exceptional.
Thank you also to everyone who came to meet us, discover our creations, or simply share a few words with us.
We returned to Lyon with stars in our eyes, a few hours of sleep to catch up on, and many ideas for what comes next.
Some experiences are not simply milestones in a journey. They make you want to go even further.
And this one is certainly one of them.
